In a research project presented to the Society for the Scientific Study of Religion, Tessi Muskrat Rickabaugh shared her findings in the study of the long-term effects of the Evangelical Purity Culture movement. Central to her conceptualizing is the application of the Rites of Passage model in interpreting the ritualized process employed by the adherents of Purity Culture.

It was my pleasure to have Tessi participate in the Liminality Seminar of the Honors College of the University of Missouri. You may view The Space Between: Liminal Time Within Purity Culture here.
