Hankering for some humor and horror, satire and allegory, fabulism, and realism? All from the halls of liminality? Well, search no longer. Simply open the cover of S.K. Kruse’s new collection of short stories, Tales from the Liminal (Deuxmers, 2021). This is the perfect book to throw into the bag on the way to the beach, the mountains, the fireplace, or the crypt.
S. K. Kruse was born and raised in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, and after completing her degree in English and launching her writing career, she took a 25 year detour to raise eleven children. Reemerging on the other side, she picked up the pen and started where she left off, including garnering a list of awards in the National League of American Pen Women’s Soul-making Keats Literary Competiton.
